So here's my quick review on Red Lobster Qatar.
Food:
Since it specializes in sea food, the sea food items at Red Lobster were very fresh and light. However, I ordered a pasta, and found it to be on the bland side, for me, I would've liked a little more salt and pepper in there, basically more flavor; So the pasta wasn't very impressive.
I would rate the food, on a scale of 1-10 (1 being the lowest, 10 being the highest) an 8.
Ambiance:
I liked the atmosphere and the feel of the restaurant, it was nice and casual. It wasn't very uptight or posh, not to mention the alive lobsters who greet you at the entrance. However, it wasn't your regular TGI Fridays either. Although, I would've preferred more comfortable seating, I'm not a fan of booths and bench seating.
I would rate the Ambiance a 7, only because of the immense hype that Red Lobster's opening caused, I was expecting a little more extravaganza.
Staff:
The staff members were extremely friendly and co-operative, they were smiling and welcoming.
I would rate the staff an 8.
Price:
Now for some reason, there was this hype around Doha that the Red Lobster is slightly on the pricey side. To my surprise it wasn't at all. The food was economically priced, I mean for a dinning experience like that, and for an international restaurant, i felt that the prices were just right. I paid around 50 riyals for one meal.
I would rate the prices an 8 as well.
Overall feel:
Overall, I liked the dining experience at Red Lobster. However, due to all the hype that was created about it, I had very high expectations which it didn't fully meet hence, overall I'd rate Red Lobster a 7.5.
Happy Dining! :)
